Golden milk, also known as turmeric milk, is made by mixing non-homogenized cows milk with turmeric and cardamom. You can also add any other herbs you'd like.  Turmeric is not very easily absorbed through digestion, however the bacteria in the cows milk line the gut making it easier to absorb.   Adding cardamom and warming the milk reduces the inflammation caused by dairy.
